Do your need a college degree for telecommuting jobs?

Not necessary, one of my friend worked in a telecommuting job before and she didn’t even graduated high school. Since most telecommuting job is customer service, all you need is basic computer skills and talking on the Telephone … most companies will train you before you get on the job.

Where can I find such jobs?

You could spend hours in the search engine (where everyone else is looking for) but it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack. What I recommend is a Telecommute Job Finder company, where they’ll find a list of fresh telecommute jobs for you for a small fee.

I recommend Telecommute Finder. Visit their website here >>

Is Telecommuting right for me?

If you’re okay with talking to people, then it okay. You also need a quiet work space and basic computer skills. Hours are not long because you’re working at home, so that cuts the rush hour time :)

However, note that most telecommuting jobs are contract work. You don’t get special health plan or anything like that. And they don’t pay you an hourly wage, but rather you get paid per minute every time you answer a phone call.

In the end, it averages out between $12-$16 an hour.
